The Mirage Hotel
The Mirage Hotel, Las Vegas, has 2 rooms fitted with SureHands ceiling track hoists.
There are two types of accessible rooms at The Mirage: Standard Accessible and Fully Accessible (with roll-in shower and "Handi-Move" electronic lift equipment for those in wheelchairs). Accessible rooms are not available for online booking. Call Room Reservations at 1-800-374-9000 to confirm availability.
Fully Accessible Rooms
Fully Accessible rooms have all the same features as the Standard Accessible Rooms, as well as the following features for those in wheelchairs:
- Handimover electronic bedroom lift enables a person to be transferred from a wheelchair to the bed with or without assistance from a companion. Bed is lowered to height of 22 inches above the floor. Maximum weight allowed is 300 pounds.
- Handimover electronic lifts in the bathroom enable a person to be transferred from a wheelchair to the commode or shower bench with or without the assistance of a companion. Maximum weight allowed is 300 pounds.
One fully accessible room has one king-size bed and sleeps a maximum of 2 people. The second fully accessible room has 2 queen beds and sleeps a maximum of 8.

** Remember to take your own sling! ** Most accommodation providers do not provide you with a sling for hygiene reasons so remember to take along your own and be comfortable in something you are used to. Most slings are'universal' fitting but if you are not sure please contact the accommodation provider.
