This purpose built 4 Star beach resort on the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico features accessible accommodation with large roll in showers and gantry type hoists available. Designed and run by Bill and Thelma, Bill is a quadriplegic and always dreamed of opening a place where those in wheelchairs could vacation, alone or with their families, in comfort in a resort which met all of their needs and with activities in which everyone could participate. Nursing assistance is available if required.
** Remember to take your own sling! ** Most accommodation providers do not provide you with a sling for hygiene reasons so remember to take along your own and be comfortable in something you are used to. Most slings are'universal' fitting but if you are not sure please contact the accommodation provider.
