Guldmann Hoists
The range of hoists from Guldmann now incorporates the NEW GH1

The Guldmann GH1 is a NEW strong, simple, ceiling mounted lifting module, it was developed specifically for the needs of home care and designed to meet the full range of day-to-day lifting needs in private homes, sheltered housing and care homes. It is a small neat design that will fit well in most locations. In use the GH1 is easy and intuitive to operate.
The GH1 provides safe and comfortable transfers, its compact size needs very little space and it is compatible with the Guldmann GH-rail systems and Guldmann Slings and accessories. The hoist can be personalised for the home environment, the side panels of the module can be fitted with a choice of four standard decor panels or customised by end users in the same way as the GH3 rails. Being easy to decorate helps the hoist system contrast, match or blend into the interior design.
Unlike the GH3, the GH1 hoist does not charge through the rail, but docks and charges through the handset. Recharging normally takes 2 – 3 hours, and on a full charge the GH1 module will complete in the region of 55 lifts (at 85kg each) this can last up to two weeks at 4 lifts per day.
The GH1 module is based on the innovative and robust technologies of GH3 lift system motors with a SWL of up to 205kg. The GH1 module is not only powerful but also fast utilising modern NiMH battery technology to power the hoist, allowing lifting and transfer operations to be carried out smoothly and quickly - leaving carers, more time to care.
Emergency stop and lowering are incorporated and simple to use.
Guldmann GH3
The GH3 ceiling hoist system is a state-of-the-art system meeting the changing needs of our customers in today's demanding professional healthcare environments.
This system has the big advantage that it is always ready for use – the lifting modules are continuously charged on the rail. These lifting modules move quietly using only a minimum of current. Transitions between rail sections are virtually unnoticeable, for maximum smoothness. Advanced digital systems provide numerous additional functions, including an integrated weighing system, service management and documentation of usage.
All these capabilities combine to make the GH3 ceiling hoist system the most cost-effective solution currently available for heavy-duty use in any professional care environment.
GH3 rails can be mounted on ceilings, walls or supporting pillars, with unsupported spans of up to 8 metres. Interconnecting elements such as gates and switch tracks make it easy to configure rail set-ups for virtually any building, space or requirements.
The discreet, modern design can be made to blend into any style of architecture, interior or décor – either in new structures or as a retrofit. GH3 lifting modules can lift users weighing up to 350 kg with one lifting strap and 500 kg with two straps. Lifting speeds are up to 60 mm/sec.
All Guldmann systems have proven to have an amazingly long service life. That’s why they have been designed so the new GH3 lifting modules can be used on existing GH2 rail systems.
