Vitalise Churchtown is an accessible residential
activity centre in the heart of Cornwall, Providing respite
breaks and day activities for people with physical, sensory
and learning difficulties. Churchtown caters for groups from
6 to 12 years old accompanied, or 12 years and over unaccompanied,
and offers adventure breaks around Cornwall’s countryside and
coastline. Running for over 30 years, Churchtown has a wealth
of knowledge and experience in providing accessible adventurous
activities to people with physical, sensory and learning disabilities.
Accommodation
Main Centre Full Board: Adults,
older people and children with physical, sensory and learning
disabilities. Guests may come to the Centre independently or
accompanied by a carer or companion. A number of special children’s
weeks are also organised, and a carer must accompany any children
between the ages of 6 and 12.
5 twin rooms (all en-suite)
10 Single rooms (all en-suite, 4 rooms with overhead hoists)
Each room has a call system and hoists can be provided in
all rooms.
Self Catering: Within the beautiful
grounds of Vitalise Churchtown are two modern, purpose built
accessible self catering lodges available for 11 months of the
year. These are ideal for disabled guests who wish to take a
break in the stunning Cornish countryside with family or friends.
Each lodge sleeps 6 people (or nine if put-up beds are used).
Full wheelchair access. Furnished to a high standard with
a well equipped kitchen, diner and lounge. One bedroom has an
overhead ceiling hoist and an en-suite bathroom with roll-in
shower. Both lodges have covered verandas with seating areas.

Vitalise also offer accommodation at the following venues.
They all offer full-board short breaks with a choice of activities
and excursions and 24-hour nursing care available if required.
